I'm a little curious but not enough to make an issue to see it at the movie theater. Shamilan has tremendous amount of potential in "Signs" but the ending was so stupid. The whole triggering the brother's baseball swing was hokey. The alien confrontations were subpar. I think "The Village" will fair better but for the time being my movie theater money will be spent on "Spider-Man 2" & Ben Stiller's Dodgeball movie.
i can't wait for the village. the other movies he has done are:
the sixth sense and unbreakable. i think there is one more but i'm not sure. anyway, i'll be watching it when it come out on DVD. (too many kids, can't afford babysitter)
i really liked the 6th sense, but unbreakable was a pretty lame story line if you ask me. but yeah, Shamilan puts alot of work into his movies.
me and a bunch of friend went to see Dodgeball, of course its "stupid humor" cause ben stiller is in it, but i havent laughed so hard in a long time. if you liked "old school" dodgeball is made by the same people i think, its worth seeing.
..but unbreakable was a pretty lame story line if you ask me.
from what i've noticed, Unbreakable is an aquired taste. some people love it, some hate it (like my wife). i'm in the middle. i thought there was going to be more to it. i didn't understand the "concept" of the movie until it was over. i think if i would have known what it was supposed to be about, i would watched it differently.
