There is no coolant feature available for the VT 365. They changed water pumps altogether from the T444E. Reason being is because of the new extended life antifreeze makes no use for one. Even later (03-05) model Internationals w/ the T444e dont have a water filter. The water pumps are different on that engine. The VT 365 uses a a plastic impeller ( almost positive). Obviously the radiator and charge air coolers are different. From my understanding its different software form both engines. Emissions (SNIP) not availabe on the T444e main reason.
Oh and another difference is the Int'l engines are painted blue

It would be real interesting to compile a list of the differences. I pretty much know most of the differences between the T444E and my 7.3 PSD. The injectors are the same in the 6.0/VT365?

I have heard several stories on diffs of VT365 and PSD 6.0. I would really like to see a good source that defines the real story.

i dont think there is that much difference physically in the 6.0 in the truck and in the van- left side exhaust manifold is different for steering clearance i still have the same cool oil filter housing but now instead of it being right side up on top of the engine and draining oil in the system back into the sump it is upside down and dumps about a quart of oil out all over the place when the housing is loosened to remove the filter element.
thank god for catch pans- i thought i was going to have nice clean oil changes with the addition of the Fumoto valve but noooooooooooo :-(

The 6.0 may be detuned in the van but its still got plenty of power!
