I have a question about a header. I found a dual output Doug Thorley header that I can get for my pickup that says that it fits a 1965-1976 2 wheel drive Ford F-100 with a inline 6 300. I have a 1978 Ford F-100 with a inline 6 300 and its 2 wheel drive, what is the difference? Would it be a really bad idea to buy it and hope that it works?
Thanks..jjudd84
I put the header on and it seems to work fine, it fits pretty tight but I think that is normal , I had to grind out part of the egr valve pipe in order to get the thing to fit but it bolted right up and looks sweet. Thanks for all of you input, I appreciate you taking the time to help..

The header that I put on is a Doug Thorley dual output, I was hoping to do a single output when I started but I am pleased with the way that this one turned out. I know taht Pacesetter performance makes a single output header for the inline 6 300, you can find them in JC Whitney but they run around $230. I bought mine off of e-bay for $75.00..
