I Was Looking At A Set For My 93' 460. The Design Is Great, Except I Wanted The Ball And Socket Style Collector. The Tri-y Design Is Excellent For Torque. The Flanges Are Good And Thick, The Nickel Finish Is Good, And Fit Is Excellent. They Are More $$ Than Some, But You Get What You Pay For.

Thorley Headers

Installed Thorley's on a FE, sorry not a 385 series. It took 5 months to get them in the raw without the chrome finish. I had them coated inside and out by HPC. They are 4 into 1 with 3 bolt flange collectors. Collector would not bolt up as it hit the trans and was off by 7 degrees. Ports, gasket surfaces and welded collector flanges had to be milled flat and welds in the ports had to be cleaned up. Thorley has been sold to another company and their quality control is poor in my book. Check for fit right away, good luck.
