I'm still trying to figure out how your rear drive shaft is that short!? Call Jesse at high angle. If anybody can do it he can, and he will tell you if its not feasible. At this point going married is making more sense to me too but it doesn't hurt to check with Jesse.
I was hoping you guys didn't say go married! Sounds like I'm gonna have more ****in fab work to do unless Jesse can come thru for me. I don't even know what to ask him!?!
I was considering that approach also. But do not want to relocate that transfer case if I can avoid it. If I was going thru that much work I'd just go with the 205 married case.
You and i both. I have also never seen a rear drive shaft with a cv in a high boy.
Yea, its a trip for sure....
Ramboss, just tell Jesse the angle that either end of the shaft will be at, and the length between the middle of the ears on opposing yokes. He'll be able to tell you if its a go.

that 203 is a good bit longer than a 205, hence the short rear shaft...if i were you id just find a divorced 205 to go in its place...stronger, and your rear shaft wont be so short!! and the front can easily be shortened to acomidate...
Can you weld? I am not saying highangledriveline isn't good, but if you are trying to stay with ANY kind of a budget, do it yourself. I did mine, and it is fine. In fact, we just went up to the mountains this weekend, and I let a couple friends thrash it, and they had the whole back end jumping off the ground bucking, and it held. If you have the $$, buy a new one. I eventually intend to. If you do it yourself, just make sure the cut and the flanges are straight when you go to weld it. Also, make small welds at intervals around it, and keep filling in between the existing welds until you are done. If you have more questions about this route, feel free to ask. I was nervous about doing it, but as I said before, it is holding. Of course, I am not running 600+Hp and 44" boggers
I reread the thread, and now I see I would think it would be easier to move the t-case and crossmember foreward. To me, the super-short jeepstyle rear shaft will cause problems. Unless you get a custom shaft. Good luck with it, Ted

im all for homeade shafts...i jsut got tired of the weak little 1330 joints, i stepped up to the 1410;s and thick tube...i had to shorten it myself when i lowered the truck.. and my front had to be lengthened when i moved my axle foward...i did it myself for like 5 bucks...its holding up fine!
I just talked to the guy I got the highboy from and he said that he had that rear shaft made in '96 or so because the old one was creating a vibration. So maybe that explains the CVs......
Does anyone have any pictures of a stock highboy driveshaft with the divorced transfer case? Or any measurements?
How much longer are the 203s over the 205s Ho? I've never messed with the chain driven x-cases and don't know. If they're that much shorter it very well could be a good alternative to just swap in a divorced 205 Ramboss.
I emailed highangle driveline today. I have Jesse's phone number from a conversation we had last week, so I might give him a call after a while if I haven't heard from him. I'm really hoping I don't have to relocate my transfer case. I was hoping to have it up and running by the end of next week
