Time For Timing Set To ?
Here gos , i have a 75 F-250 ,390 engine ,i just put in a Comp. Cam ,268/502 LIFT holley dual feed 750 carb. dual roller timing chain , Edelbrock intake maniflod , matching lifters and springs, and the timing should be ? stock is around 6 and that wont work , right now its at about 16 deg. any help

THe best thing to do is get your distributor recurved. You want as much initial as possible. The engine kicking back against the flywheel is a sign of too much. You will want to limit your total timing to around 36 - 42 degrees. Aftermarket distributors make this super easy.
