Not dumb at all - 2 1/2" diameter.

Now, when you get to the "Y" pipe, that's a nightmare (An engineer had a nightmare, woke up and sketched it out before he had the chance to forget it. It's either that or the devil made him do it.)

So from the muffler to the Y it is 3" correct? So if I'm buying a new muffler I need 3" in. Correct? I'm not sure why this is so confusing to me right now... thanks guys, Judd

Does this apply to newer years as well like 2003? So before the Y 2 1/2" and from Y to muffler 2 1/2" and after muffler 3"? I was told that on my year 2003, the pipe from muffler out was 3 1/2"?

By the way, anyone else using the Full Boar muffler? Read the post about it on the V10 board, sounds pretty sweet. Anyone try it? Fella that posted about it said it sounds much better than his old FM40... thanks, Judd

I'm to blame for all the horse biscuits on the grill, 1tonJudd. I went out, with a pair of calipers, and the pipe is 3" diameter.

I admit it...I was wr-r-r, I was wr-r-r...

I made a mistake.

Sorry.

First time, though...

I believe what every one was tyring, tiring, trying to say was:
from manifolds to Y pipe 2.5"
from Y pipe to cataliletic conv 3"
from cat to muff 3"
tail pipe 3"
