My extensions panels on my bed rusted through so I have a buddy who has a break......He made me some new pieces and the rears look good. Wondering if he got the right dimensions on the front ones. My old ones were pretty bad so I got as close as I could.....Could someone tell me what the width of the panel is from the crease in the Bed to the top of the extension panel or from the top of the stake pocket to the top of the panel..........Greatly appreciated.............
What year truck? I'm not sure what dimension you are looking for. My '52 F1's box is real easy to measure right now, it's off the truck patiently waiting for me to get back to work on it. ...Terry
I'm almost postive my "52 box dimensions are the same as yours. If you email me with your email address, I could send a photo of my box so you could be check. Or describe what you want measured again. ...Terry
The extension panels on the front of the bed where the last fender bolt is located. How wide is the panel from the lip in the bed where the wood is located to the top of the panel? Or you can measure from the top of the square tube(Stake Pocket) to the top of the break in the panel. Need to know dont want a huge gap between the running Boards or no gap at all............Thanks Terry
How wide is the panel from the lip in the bed where the wood is located to the top of the panel?
From the lip in the bed where the wood is located to the top of the panel where the angled part of the bed starts is 17 1/2". The angled part of the bed adds 3" to the total height. Hope this helps. ...Terry
