bed patch panels

It seems that nobody makes any bed patch panels for the slick years, only '67 and up. I have some rusted out areas in the front of my bed on my '66 that I would like to replace. I mentioned the fact that nobody makes patch panels to a friend of mine who happens to be an engine builder/race car builder/fabricator. He said he could make a die but it would cost about $300 for the die and then he could roll out some patch panels for me. I thought that was a little expensive for just one truck. But I got to thinking about it and if there was enough interest, we could share the cost of the die and roll out patch panels for those here in the forum. Obviously, the more people that were interested the lower the cost would be. If we could get 25 people, the cost of the die would only be $12 each plus whatever it costs to roll out the patch panel. If there is any interest, please let me know. They should work for '65-'66, not sure about the earlier years. If anyone knows, please chime in.
