transfer case leak
ok, mystery question....while on the way home from a loooong road trip I noticed what I thought was trans fluid leak while stopped for gas...seemed to be a long time between drips, and was wet that day anyway, so checked trans fluid, level ok, not burned etc, no noises, slipping, nothing...got home, checked again, still no probs. buddy mentioned that transfer case could leak and never show up on trans dipstick. Glad its not making weird noises or doing anything strange, but how can I check this out; and does it need periodic service??
