I need a diesel tech!!!Help

Unfortunately the deisel tech were I bought my truck is no longer at the dealer. And my dealer seems to be in no hurry to replace him. I live in northern Indiana Laporte 46350. Does anybody know of any local diesel techs. I feel it is important to trust your mechanic. And my dealer has lost my respect. Thanks ahead for any help.

Try going over to "Flatrate Tech" website and posting there. It is run by FMC certified diesel techs. Here is the link

Also may want to ask this question down in the Indiana section of this board.

if u know his name, u could always pick up the phonebok and give him a call. i doubt he live too far.

Unfortunatly I only tallked to him for a little while during the negotiations. He quit the first week I owned the truck. Now 4 weeks later I need a good tech. I am taking the truck in Monday Morning to a certified tech in Valparaiso. About 30 mile west of Laporte. So I am happy to get an opinion before my long trip. Thanks to all here. This forum is great. Happy to now be a member.

I dont think I would be welcomed back in the service area anymore. After their regular tech told me this was normal on the 2004 diesels I said a few things that he didnt care to hear. I expressed my feelings on how I felt their sevice department was handling my issues and their uncarring ways of replacing their diesel tech. I actually want to forget this dealer and move on to a more proffesional dealer. Thanks again Guy's
