So my idle seems to be just fine when i start up, but every once in a while stopped at a red light or stop sign the idle flucuates and then my car dies
I've changed the fuel filter .... but since it doesn't happen all the time maybe once a week its been difficult to diagnose... any ideas?

 

EEC-IV self-tests to see if there's any trouble codes in continuous memory.
You don't say what year BII, that would help us help you.

 

I had the same problem.....grab a can of carb cleaner....worked like a charm for me

 

dont use carb cleaner if its a fuel injected model get throttle body and air intake cleaner
