ok, this is a weird one for me. after pluggin in my trailer lights, i went to test and make sure that my lights worked. so i turned on my running lights, both trailer and bronco lights lit up. i went to go push my brakes, well, neither the trailer or the bronco brake lights lit up. i know my lights worked before i hooked up my trailer. so i had to drive down the road turning on my headlights everytime i hit the breaks. my hazard lights dont even work. its really weird. my left blinker will light up the brake lights, but not my right blinker. i need some help. thanks. david
What year is your Bronc? My truck has a fuse for the trailer lights. Also, I ran into a case once where, if the trailer wiring harness is spliced directly into the brake light circuit, and the lights on the trailer were shorted or not properly grounded, it would cause both the trailer lights and truck lights to not work. Good Luck!

oh, sorry bout that, it is a 1988 bronco. and yah, my trailer lights are spliced into the brake lights. but all of the fuses are ok. so if it got shorted out, what do i do?
thanks, david
Well do the truck lights work when you unplug the trailer? If so, the problem is that the trailer is shorted or not properly grounded and you'll have to find where its wrong and fix the problem
