Habe any of you guys tried that tornado fuel saver that they are starting to sell and if so does it really help gas a lot or fuel. you boys with a full size Bronco with a 302 know what i'm talking about.
Remember, -if any of these gimmicks worked the OEM's would be all over it. There used to be laws about false advertising but they have either expired, or are not enforced anymore.

Let's be fair... it's not false advertisement... per say... if you own the exact engine they produced it for... and mix it exactly as they did for the single test that produced good results... and use it with extremely high-grade fuel...
Actually the tornado has a sound argument and it does work on some vehicles, just like the throttle body spacers do. But on the FORDs I believe that the tornado is mounted to far ahead of the intake that the swirling motion is reduced by the time it hits the intake.
A guy who listed a post a couple months back said he had gains of about 1-2 MPG (maybe 3mpg). But some bronco owners say the key is to mount it right next to the throttle body...not far away from it. As far as power gains are concerned, i wouldn't expect anything noticeable if any increase at all. Im willing to try the tornado for even the CHANCE at a mileage increase. Check eBay, only about $50, not to big of a loss if it sucks.
Yeah I guess there could be dumber things that a person could spend his money on. Same concept as the throttle body spacer and I know dodges really benefit from it.
geez!everytime gas goesup in price, this thing gets attention.
ubermich-it is nothing to mix up.it just twists the air.
yes it might work in some cars.but who knows which one?
you would have to do a dyno and REAL fuel tests to know.not"I think i got 1-3 mpg more.or It feels 20 percent stronger.it really means nothing without actual tests
I will try to find the link where a company ran real tests.the owners of the cars said they had great results, but the actual tests showed it was not true.
people said they got good results because they wanted to and expected to.there are many variables that would have to be controlled to prove this kind of thing works.there is even a magnet "they"say is epa tested to improve milage by 20%.it doesn't.
I know who cares what I think.I dunno.remember,for most broncos,(with 2 air inlets)you need two of those tornadoes anyways.my .02
