Yes, Kazaa Lite is ad-free. Make sure you get the "Lite" version though, as the "Full" version used to be ad supported. The Lite version actually has more features anyway. As with ANYTHING you do on-line, be aware that anybody can see everything you do (If they REALLY want to). A remote proxy service (usually a pay service) is a way to "mask" what you do on-line, but essentially evrything you download must come back to your IP address.
