Valve Cover Torque Specs 2.9

Title says it all. I need the tourque spec for the valve covers on my 89 BII.

Well now i know where all the oil was coming from. 1/2 the gasket on each side was completely missing. Changed over to the new felpro blue, so far they seal fine. No more oil under the BII. Happy days are here. Still waiting for my new headlights scheduled delivery is this Monday. Not bad $800.00 purchase price, $300.00 in misc. tune-up and maintenance items and i have a nice liitle truck with a minimal investment.

And if it is an 89, then it is still breaking in!

I have an 88 with 180k.

Gonna be awhile before i see that kind of milage. I'm at 54,000 original miles right now, only drive to and from work. 16 miles a day, 80 miles a week, only 4160 a year. That's about 35 years.
