OK so back to the basics. I had this reflash in May of 2003 with the replacementof the PCM. Did this disable the pilot injection or did that come on a later flash?

Question? On the passenger side valve cover on my 2004, International has a blue sticker with engine year, also states the HP and Torque numbers and corresponding rpm's that these figures are reached at. But also that same sticker says that these figures cannot be changed!

If this is true. then why is it that soem whose trucks have received the flash say that the truck feels less porwerful? Does the flash take power away or just makes the truck less aggressive?

Gracias
Robert

If you have a 2004, you have a different flash for your engine than 2003. There are about 30 differences. The FICM is one of them. Less aggressive is a good way to put it for those of us who had the 2003 with early flash and now have Dec flash. I can't speak for the 04's.
