99 Expo
Just recently I took my truck in to dealership because my ses light came on. My egr valve is supposedly bad how would that affect my vehicles driving performance and can I myself replace it and where is it located?

Hey berniebbop welcome aboard. Yes you can replace the egr valve. It is probably one of the easiest things you can do on these trucks. The egr valve is a little "flying saucer" looking thing on the top of the engine just to the right of the throttle body (if your looking at the engine from the front).
