Not in an expy, but yes on others.
Usually a bolt with a washer type thing at the bottom of the saddle or cup that holds it in place, then the weight of the vehicle keeps it from going anywhere.
Usually, you disconnect the shocks and get as much weight off the springs as you can by jacking the car up . Depending on the suspension sometimes this can be all of (springs fully extended), or sometimes not and you have to use a spring compressor to compress the springs enough to pull them out...
Of course I have to warn you of something you probably know - be careful if they are under pressure - make sure they are released (no energy) or constrained w/ the proper device.
