...Yea maybe....unfortunately, My one and only experience was negative...not that my opinion matters though. Kinda of a moot point anyway, the kid died. But hey Im sure glad ole Lance survived HIS ordeal though....

No, your opinion and your experience DO matter...
it is the only thing you have to extrapolate from !

just like if your truck was bad then all must be....

we can only really judge by what we know...

Muscleman is correct. I mean, lance is a bike riding machine, for crying outl oud, and to have been as close to death's door as he was. I find the whole thing quite inspirational. I don't have a clue what happened in his personal life. As long as he is a good dad and continues to be a positive role model, what more can we ask of him?

I am a Live Strong supporter and I do wear a yellow band. Anyone who can bring a bit more attention to the horrible disease of cancer is worth my respect. I have read both his books and also any other book I can find on him.
I also am an avid cyclist and to think about winning the tour once is amazing but going for 6 in a row is superhuman. I believe him when he says he is clean, how can I not. I dont know him personally, how can I judge him.
As far as his personal life heck I am divorced and a weekend Dad does that make me a horrible person? Just curious.....

I'm an avid cyclist as well. My opinion is that he's a monster on the bike! There are some bumps (compared to the alps anyway) around my house that I ride up. The longest one is about 1 1/2 miles long. I'm usually spent at the end of that climb. I can't imagine going up a much steeper 10 mile hill at the end of a 90 mile ride! As far as his personal life goes, I'm sure there are only a small circle of people who know what really happened between him and his first wife. I'm not in that circle, so it isn't my place to judge.
