I have a 1977 F150 ranger. Its a 4x4 with a 351m and a c6 tranny. It is a auto. When you first start from a dead stop it vibrates and shakes some. After it gets into a higher gear it gets better. It has plenty of fluid and does not leek. Can this be a tranny problem or something else? thanks all.
Was the vibration there before the U-joints were installed?
If it wasn't, the problem could still be U-joints, especially if some of the roller bearings in the cups were lost....
All u-joints and driveshaft parts are solid as a rock.It also is starting to get bad gas milage agian. And when you punch the gas pedal it almost slalls.New 2150 carb.
