Low and faster please
I have a 97 explorer and would like to lower it as well as make it faster. It is a V6 and currently has duel turbo mufflers. They will soon be replaced with a system by flowmaster. Any suggestions on how to lower this bad boy and make it faster are all welcome. If you don't like a lowered explorer, don't read this post.

If you still have any questions, let me know. Lowering an X is not hard, just depends on how low you want. If you want to give it more of a sports car feel with more street aggression, there are a combination of things to do:
- Lower the X around 2-3"
- Upgrade front and rear swaybars
- Change bumpstops on supspension along with new bushings
- Wheel and tire combination
- Etc...
Here is a link that has some info on some of the parts for a V6. There are more out there like headers, throttle bodies, etc, but this gives some of the part numbers...

Try those to start with, then we can go from there. Check the links - there is just too much info on all of it to retype again (getting lazy)...
