rough idle 4.6 liter
my 2002 f-150 with 4.6 liter has been idling rough when warmed up and I come to a stop. I was going to clean my throttle plate and replace my IAC, but I tried a different dealer first to see if they could fix it since its still under warrenty. They ran a WDS power balance test and said that they do feel the rough idle but they dont see anything wrong and that its a charictoristic of this truck (same as the other dealership). They told me they have seen this before and Ford tried to balance the exhaust or something but only had a 5% success rate fixing the problem, and it had something to do with motor mounts. So I'm clueless on what to do, does anyone think that I will be wasting my time and money by replacing the IAC and cleaning the throttle plate??
