Sometime, not always, when I come to a stop the idle is really rough. I gas it a little and it goes away. It has also done this occasionally at speed. Same thing, I hammer the throttle and it goes away. I did the egr port clean job about 2 months ago. Could this be the tps or the iac. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Had a code scan done today at autozone. Code came up po133, o2 sensor I believe. Which one would that be, and would that be causing my problem? I am going to change wires and plugs this weekend, and I imagine I'll replace the sensor also. Plugs will be Motorcraft double platnums, any suggestions on wires. Motorcraft or aftermarket? Thanks for any help.

Motorcraft wires seem to fit better, but any good quality wire is best (not getting into a debate here). Make shure to check the vacuum hose from the pcv to the intake, I've had a lot of them crack where it attaches to the intake. It will cause these problems also.
Passenger side closest to the engine. It should be just behind the exhaust manifold near the pipe flange.
I would do the tune-up and clean the MAF before I changed the sensor. After doing the tune-up/cleaning, reset the codes and see if it returns. If it does, then I would replace the O2 sensor.
Got the new plugs and wires in yesterday. Really wasn't that bad to do. You do need to use some patience. Wires popped right off with the string trick I read about on here. I air blasted and vacumed the plug channels and the
plugs came out fairly easily. Old plugs were burn't up enough that they were over .070. Also sprayed the maf with STP throttle body cleaner. When I first fired it back up she coughed alittle, but now it seems to be fine. Haven't really driven it anywhere yet, to see if the rough condition is gone. Just a couple short trips arround the neihborhood. Today I'm changing the fuel filter while I'm at it. Have the filter, but didn't realize I needed a special tool to remove the lines. Will hunt that down today. By the way, the cel ( code po133 ) went out on it's own on friday evening, before I did anything. Well, time to get at that filter.

New fuel filter is on. Wow, after I took the old one off, I could not blow thru it manually without blowing my lungs out. Hopefully that is the root of my problem.
