My 78 4x4 weighs 6000. I know the front axle is about 500 and the transfer case accounts for close to 200 so I'd guess a 2wd will weigh about 5100 pounds if it's a longbed.

Just went to the scrap yard today with a load. My ticket says 6,785# with me in it - 200#. '79 F250 4x4 dual tanks front 1/2 full, rear empty, Ramsey Winch, tripple roll bar, 39.5 t.s.l.'s. & no super cab. I think your super cab should weigh at least 500# more.
Nope, 6245 with my 220# butt in it and empty tanks. Your tires and winch will account for a lot of extra weight. Not sure about the weight of your roll bar. Also don't know if you have a custom bumper for the winch but that could account for an easy 200-300 pounds there. I've added a few things that have brought my weight up a bit like dual batterys and all that mess but nothing significant.
I'm going to try to borrow a camera today and post some pictures. Your right, I do have a lot of other stuff come to think of it. I wonder what the weight difference from factory stock was ?
Don't know what the actual weight is from the factory. There are some major discrepancies though. My title shows my vehicle weight at 4500 pounds, 1500 less than it really weighs. The only weight modifying changes I can think of are the 460 and the toolbox in my bed which definitely won't account for that much change in weight. Who knows what they were doing.
Btw Mark, your truck is awesome! Hope to get my TSLs here soon.
Well, I found the original factory door stick in the glove box yesterday. It says the GVW for my truck is 6,050 lbs. I haven't added anything but maybe lost a few pounds due to rust. LOL
