I have checked the base timing, whith spout conn. disconnected and motor idling. When this is done, I get code 1359, which is as it should. After I erase this code, I get code 1000 " OBD II Monitor Testing Incomplete", and I can't get it away. Isn't the tuner able to complete the job, or is it the owner(me)? I'll appreciate some help.
code 1000 is telling you that enough time has not elasped since you erased codes. drive around, it needs time to run all the tests required by the program. normally a couple of key cycles and some driving time. it will clear itself when all the tests it requires for the diagnostics of the ODB II system are completed. you can't erase it.
