I like F-HD paint - it looks cool on photos but all of that photos has a different lightning, and i don't understand - what exactly colors used. It's time to paint my B2 and i think, it will be cool to paint my B2 in HD colors. Someone know real color numbers for top and bottom? Top at photos looks like dark brown, bottom like terracot, but i see - it's differnt in real.

P.S. Sory for my bad English

Your English is pretty good! The Harleys are usually black with silver or black with orange. Take a look at this.

Hope that helps

Thank you for your answer, but...

I saw that photos before, but WHAT black and WHAT orange? :-) For example, Tikurilla (Finland) have an 16 mixes of orange and 22 of black. I'll trying to ask - what exact colors used. "Just black" can be black-in-red, black-in-silver, black-in-green, black-in-blue and millions of combinations of that. European "ford black" is black-in-deep-red for all Scorpios, Pumas and other Euro-Fords. (i don't know how it sounds in American slang, but i think you understand what is black-in-deep-red :-))) ). I need a numbers of that colors or something close to it.

If you are looking for exact paint codes, try posting in the paint and bodywork forum or the Lighting/Harley Davidson forum.

He's already posted in the Paint & Bodywork forum and I created a link to this thread in the Lighting/Harley Davidson forum a day or two ago. I don't know what else we can do to help him out.

May try contacting Ford directly (however you do that). In the mean time, I've been keeping an eye out to make sure his threads don't move too far down the boards. I feel real bad when a member is unable to get the answer to their problem.

Thank you, Carlene.

Old Ford trucks in Russia is a rarity (about 15-20 trucks in Moscow), and i want to rebuilt my BabyBronco to be in "show condition". It's very important for me. Thank you again .

Here's what I could find out about the colors:
It is black and orange. The orange is called Competition Orange, and the Ford Color Code should be CY.

Wish I could help more

The top color is Black Clearcoat, Ford paint code UD. The bottom color is Competition Orange, Ford color code CY. The orange is very, very bright ORANGE. It looks nothing like terra cotta, so be careful. If you post your address, I'll mail you a color chip chart, showing the exact colors.

NetRider, I mailed it today. I don't know how long it takes for mail to go between the U.S. and Russia. It will be worth waiting for- I included some "extras." Enjoy!
