96 Explorer 5.0L Check engine light code P0402

My 96 explorer Check Engine light has been on for a year or so. It has 75,000 miles on it. I finally got around to working on it and found two codes. One was a O2 sensor which I took care of. The other is a P0402 "Excessive EGR flow". Does anyone have any experience with this? I have checked the EVR with an ohm meter and it seems fine.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and then restarting to see if the light goes out??

bae77345, did you fix your problem? I have the same problem and the same explorer. I can't even find the EGR or the sensor.
