Superchips Question
It appears that the Superchips 1100 is made for my 97 4.0L Explorer. I have the opportunity to buy a used one, although it was used on different model Ford truck. Will this chip work for my Explorer, and are there different versions of Superchips within a model number?

Superchips Question
The Superchips will not work until you had it recalibrated for your specific PCM code. I went with the Diablo chips because Superchips have raised their prices so high for reprogramming a chip. You can almost buy a Diablo Delta for what Superchips wants for the reburn. Check with Ken in the Computer Chip forum for pricing on getting a totally new chip versus having a Superchips reprogrammed. By the time you pay for the chip and pay to have it programmed, you can probably buy a brand new chip.
