yes Staz can have yours chromed for your bling effect.
I am supprised why staz has not tried to get a DOT stamp for his. There is no way the tire or rim can come off the vehicle unless the lugs come off even if there was a blow out.

I wonder if it's just a $$ thing to get them approved. It's not a really big deal because a cop won't really see your wheels well enough to know unless he stops you anyway, but it would be an added plus.
Man I wish I knew someboby on here was looking for a set, I just saw a set of 5 ( 4 early bias-ply wheels and one later radial wheel ) for $200 at a local swap meet. I should have bought them but I don't have a use for them. I told the guy if I was trying to sell them I would be asking a lot more, I know stupid me. They were complete with the beadlock rings and the run flat centers.
I know I should have bought them, but I have been taking some heat lately for all the extra stuff I have lying around now, I just didn't feel like listening to it. They were at the Big M which is a local drive in movie theater that hosts car shows all summer.
You guys should try the military auctions. I know that you can get them there, cause a buddy of mine collects all sorts of military equipment and he says he seem hummer wheel all the time (not to mention tirs as well)

talking about military hummer wheels.....
I am wondering if a regular set of 8" backspaced hummer rims would fit on a dually front&rear axle to make it a non-dually... anyone ever try that?

That's an interesting idea Bremen . . . never thought if that but I suppose it could be done. I've been considering getting a Ranger or Bronco II and then putting on fullsize axles but using Hummer beadlocks to bring the wheels back in a bit.
Well I went ahead and ordered a set of double beadlocks from Dan at USA 6x6. I imagine I'll have them in about 2 weeks so I'll snap pictures and give you guys a review when they arrive. I'm hoping I can get some cash together so I'll have some Swampers to put on them too. I talked to Theresa and Robin with White Knight who is now running Dan's double beadlocks and they were really happy with them so I figured I'll give them a shot.

Let me know how it goes. I've considered buying a set since they are DOT approved so I can run some serious groundhawgs.. However, I don't wanna buy them if they are garbage.
