I really need some help, Ive looked on all the forums and searched online and cant seem to find anyone who sells a sliding rear window for a ranger. I called the dealership today and they wanted $210 for it, its a present for my dad and I dont know how much they normally go for but $210 seemed really steep so I figured an aftermarket one might be cheaper. If anybody knows where to find one please help me out. The vehicle is a 2001 stepside supercab ranger 4x4 offroad, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
i hate sliding rear windows. it's the perfect entry point for anyone looking to break into your truck. most only have a cheap, plastic clip keeping them 'locked'. after my last break-in i replaced it with a solid glass window. i'll never go back.
I had a alarm installed on my truck with a magnetic sensor on the back window. I wasnt really worried before because the window looks pretty break-in proof, but now I have just a little more peice of mind. The best thing is riding around on nice cool day with all 5 windows open.
