I've bought a couple Fords under A-Plan so I'm familiar with how that works. Since my last new vehicle purchase (Which was about 10 years ago now) Dad retired from Ford and he is now on Z-Plan. I've been kicking some tires (yes I know salespeople hate tire kickers, hurry up and buy! ) and I would inquire on A-plan pricing and then realize "oops I meant Z-Plan" .. and the salesperson told me A is equal to Z for price. Over dinner last night Dad told me that A is NOT equal to Z and that Z is less in vehicle price than you get with A. Who is right here?

Technically, A and Z are the same price on the INVOICE. Right now, there's an extra $1,000 rebate for Z-Plan buyers, but you have to tell the operator when you call for the PIN in order to get the extra grand. If you have a PIN now and didn't mention this extra rebate when you called, then you wont get the $1,000. It's program #9245 when you call for the PIN, and the qualifying retiree can only use this rebate once.

I haven't been around enough to email you directly - anyway I think Dad may have used that rebate when he got the Mustang GT last fall, not to mention he's looking to trade in his 99 F-250 light duty 5.4 for a new F250 PSD so if he hasn't used it yet, he may use it soon. I'm in Victor, NY, a suburb of Rochester. It's about a 5-hour drive from Harrisburg, PA. I have 2 customers from Maryland and 2 from Virginia; check out the price of one-way flights from Baltimore to Buffalo on Southwest, or DC to Rochester on Independence Air (starts service mid-July). Most of our buyers fly in and drive their new truck home. We can pick you up at Buffalo, Rochester or Syracuse airports, and if you stay the weekend we'll pick up your hotel room tab!
