A Plan vs. Z Plan
I've bought a couple Fords under A-Plan so I'm familiar with how that works. Since my last new vehicle purchase (Which was about 10 years ago now) Dad retired from Ford and he is now on Z-Plan. I've been kicking some tires (yes I know salespeople hate tire kickers, hurry up and buy! 
) and I would inquire on A-plan pricing and then realize "oops I meant Z-Plan" .. and the salesperson told me A is equal to Z for price. Over dinner last night Dad told me that A is NOT equal to Z and that Z is less in vehicle price than you get with A. Who is right here?

Technically, A and Z are the same price on the INVOICE. Right now, there's an extra $1,000 rebate for Z-Plan buyers, but you have to tell the operator when you call for the PIN in order to get the extra grand. If you have a PIN now and didn't mention this extra rebate when you called, then you wont get the $1,000. It's program #9245 when you call for the PIN, and the qualifying retiree can only use this rebate once.
