Skyjacker Shocks

Does anyone have skyjacker nitro's on a F250 Superduty? Are they any good? Would you suggest something else?

I would like to hear some responses as well. I say go for them now. I don't think they can be that bad. I'm sure there no where near the quality of Ranchos or Bilstiens but for the price I would try them out.

Don't know anything about the Skyjackers, but I'm quite happy with my Bilsteins on the front and Rancho 9000X's on the rear of the F350. They are well worth the money, especially the Bilsteins.

Thanks guys I'm going to get them. For $35 each I think I'll take a change. I do like the Bilsteins I had them on my last truck.

Did you ever get the Skyjacker Nitro shocks? How do you like them? I am considering getting some too.

I have them on my truck, and have for the last 2 years. I installed them when I installed my skyjacker lift. Before those, I had Rancho RS5000's for about 10k miles. Before those were the stock shocks that had to be replaced. I've also had superlift shocks on another F-150. The superlifts were way too soft, the RS5000s were a little stiff, and the skyjackers seem right in the middle. Now the dampening rates were totally different and I don't think I have a very dependable opinion of them...I don't pay that much attention. The skyjackers are fine for me...they're a good quality for the price you pay...but they're not the highest quality available. I think my next set of shocks will be bilsteins.

Can you explain what you mean by this? I spend most of my time on highways and some gravel roads but no offroading.

I put off getting them and got new tires instead. I will probably get them after the winter.
