New V 10 Owner
Have Had My 2004 250 V10 For 6 Months Now, And A Buddy Told Me About This Site You Have Ansewerd More Questions Than I Thought I Even Had. I Am Definetly Not A Gear Head And This Site Is Unbeliveable For The Average Guy Who Gets Treated Like The Automotive Moron He Is At The Local Parts Store. Keep Up The Good Work.

But now that you have a Superduty you won't be needing much from the local auto parts shop except oil and filters, right??

i just bought a 2000 f-250 with the ever popular v-10. what kind of mileage can i expect from this. the truck was bought for the previous owners wife and he gave me every maintanance record for the truck. the oil never stayed in the engine for more than three thou. and all other filters were changed every third oil change. he seems to have really looked after this truck

250 Fx X 4 Crew Cab 8' Bed 4.10 Gears. Love It Pulls Great. Only Problem Is Wind Drag On My Decoy Trailer It Is Tall And Wide But Has No Wheight To It.i Have Pulled A Car Trailer Loaded With 16' Rough Cut Lumber Easyier Than The Decoy Trailer, And The Wheight Difference Is At Oposite Ends Of The Spectrum.

Just a curiosity question for WHAT EVER.....
Who Taught You To Capitalize The First Letter Of Every Word?
I really am just curious as it seems like a bunch of typing trouble to do it that way
Of course on the net all CAPs is like shouting, and rude, but you are the first I have seem with that style of typing.

Sorry i did not know this was a v10 / grammer site I would have stayed off. I leave my cap locks on all the time unless its official and thats the way it showed up with caps at the beggining of each word. I figure if proper grammer on a bulletin board is the biggest thing I have to think about, life stinks.Nothing intended by caps, hope my spelling is ok.

SHEESH!!! NO ONE was yelling at you it was just a question... NOTE in my post is said ALL CAPS was yelling and rude... you have a unique way of just capping the first letter... I was really just curious and sincere about the WELCOME!!!!

No 4.10 gears stock. From what I have read on this site resist the temptation to use heavier engine oil than 5-20. Weight will get you on the up hills but wind drag gets you every where.
It's not only a great engine but the rest of the truck is solid as well.
