sorry to rekindle a old thread but im considering using a drum off a a diesel reefer tractor trailor, they come in different sizes and all. find a junk yard and im sure you could find one, thers a couple around here

now THIS is a long lost post, lol
well after all this time i have finished my fuel cell for my bronco! i found an Anheiser-Busch pony keg and turned it into a fuel cell. i'm still not too good with the aluminum welding spool gun but i am gettin there. i turned it over on it's side and cut a hole in the top then welded the gas cap flange in. on the bottom i welded 2 lil nipples in for fuel lines. now i gotta build my roll cage (lol) so i can strap it to it. i'll get pictures when my batteries charge for my digi cam

well at that point i might feel bad for ya cause we all know (from experience 
) that gas is horribly nasty!
of course as expensive as gas is i'd prolly cram the fuel line down your throat and suck that gas right back out!!

Yea, we always liked having him around for laughs just to see what he'd do next. Kind of like a monkey. I sure miss having him around, I think he ended up blowing himself up while welding on his gas tank.

LOL....ya know it never fails to happen that during the course of some project we're gunna drill a hole or two in our trucks where they weren't supposed to be...i drilled a hole in my bed once....right through my brand new ford bed liner....
