johngemmer,I just put a new shift collar on my 73 F-350 SCS.It looks exactly like the one I put in my 72 F-250 a couple of years ago, they were both automatics(C-6).I don't know much about the three speed shift collars on the tree, mabey someone else will know in case that is what you are asking for.As far as I know the shift collars for autos was the same for the 67-72 models,I think the only thing that changed on the 73-79 shift collars was the addition of the emergency flasher switch to the collar assembly, but I may be wrong, good luck.
"bowties in the rearview mirror" PS. make sure you pull the park neutral switch tang on the inner collar shaft or you will break it off like I did when replacing the shift collar!!
thanks Im going to be useing the hole column the neutral safty switch dose not matter the one on the 69 has ben bye passed I will be putting in a quick silver in shortly there after once again thanks for your imput I have had three other say the same thing you said
