Question aruond the block,oops guess not.

i take my '78 truck for a drive around the block,but,she doesn't make it half
way?the carb is getting gas like it should but when i get ready to drive her she wants to die out.i've checked e'rthang from fuel filter,fuel pump,and fuel lines.

Sometimes it takes a while for people to see the posts. Have you checked your ignition module? How did the problem begin? Will it rev freely in nuetral?

Vacuum leaks? Failing ignition box?

Which engine? Try posting under performance, engines, for your engine type and size further dune forms main page. Give more specifics, ie type of engine, tranny, etc

It could be anything, not specifically a fuel problem.

Give us all the info you can think of:
Motor / tranny / any modifications / any recent work.
Has it always run this way? How long have you owned it? Etc.?
