I got my leather seat in my Jeep limited fixed for about $100 bucks if I recall...
Great job, COULD NOT tell where it was ripped before :-)

A hundred bucks sounds pretty costy to repair a crack. But, not being able to tell where it was to begin with sounds worth it.
What kind of place did you have it fixed??
I have no idea where to start looking....

Well,
mine was right as you enter the drivers side where my left leg rested most f the time...
the leather just didn't like the oils in my left leg I guess :-)
I just looked on yahoo yellow pages for an upholstery shop... and called my dealer to ask who does their repairs... got the same name so I went to him...
and he was good !

And since I was selling the Jeep, I wanted it clean to get top dollar...
thought $100 was a steal compared to $250 or more for a new seat...
guess I could have gone to a salvage yard, but these seats nad jeeps were relatively rare...

guess it's all a matter of preception of :how much is too much"
good luck, maybe others can chime in and help...
