Going to Mexico...

I leave for Mexico in a week or so on a cruise to Ensanada. It should be a good time. Anyone been on this cruise and what are the good things to do in Mexico?

I have been on a few cruises. They are great. You can eat until you throw up. They have pools where you can watch and maybe meet some bikinis. They have shows, eating, movies, tours, bikinis, trap shooting, exercise rooms, eating, eating, and eating. Then you get too fat to get off the ship in Mexico. And certainly too fat to watch the bikinis. Have a great time, and DO NOT DRINK WATER IN MEXICO.

I'd love to go on a cruise, but I don't think to Mexico! Heck..I'm sunburned so bad already right here that if I went there, I'd probably end up with 4th degree burns. ( yeah..I could invent 4th degree burns! )

Don't get pickpocketed, that's something to watch out for right there. Common sense should keep you pretty safe. A lot of the towns that the cruise ships stop at are more touristy anyway.

Like Fife said watch your valuables around the ports and marketplaces, tuck in all jewlery and remove rings and watches...watch your digi cam those dissapear quick....dont trust the locals unless they are reputable like a business or govt official....do NOT under ANY circumstance drink the water!!! you will end up with a mildly catastrophic case of the SPUTS!!! and your **** will hurt while you spend 80% of the trip on the jon....soak up the sun but watch out for stupid stuff....and whatever you do DONT got to JAIL while in ma-he-cooo cause you will be there for a long time bro....we went through the same speech when we were on tour with the stunt teams....we went to trinidad and that was about the worst...3rd worldish charm with an island beat...lol have fun man

only buy bottled water from stores, not that kid that goes "bottled water 3.50 dollar" after you open it.

I have "cruised" to Mexico twice had a great time... Senor Frogs from what I can remember was great!! Those tequilla shooters are fun, they shake your head after they pour the tequilla down your throat... Driven to Ensenada a bunch of times. I love it there, great shopping, dont eat the oysters though Cruises are great, lots to eat and drink and nothing to worry about The last cruise we wnt on though our bar tab for 7 days was over 700 bucks Yikes!!!!!

Aw, dude, you're gonna have a blast!

Like everyone is already saying, don't drink the water. Drink beer instead. A few to choose from. I liked Pacifico better than Corona.

While you're off the ship, get as much done as possible. Go on a guided tour of something. Get some shopping done in the market. You can get lots of souvenir T shirts for less than two bucks each.

Senor Frog's was an awesome place. The tequila and jello shooters were good. The wait staff even gets in on the guest entertainment.

Have fun dude.

Thanks I'll stick with beer and check out Senior Frog's. Kundalini - have you been to the blowhole in Ensenada? I heard it is pretty cool but if I only have a few hours in Mexico I don't want to waste my time. I know I'm going to have a good time

Yep a few times I think its called Bufadora sp?
you can get there real fast, its not that far from the port... I would go do that first thing then back to Papas and Beer *grin* or Hussongs both really fun bars.... I am not sure if there is Senor Frogs in Ensenada , the one I went to was in Mazatlan.. Nonetheless Hussongs is pretty cool and so is Papas and Beer. The blowhole is a short cab ride but worth it if you have never seen one.

I went to the Senor Frog's in Mazatlan too. There were a few others from our boat that went in too, but from where I was sitting, it looked like my wife and I were the only ones doing the tequila and jello shooters.

It's something that just has to be experienced. You can hear about it all you want, but words can't do it justice.
