HELP!!!!! Tires!!
I have a 97 F-250 Powerstroke and I cant keep tires on it. I have not changed anything from its original purchase nor has this truck been off roading. I have 77,000 miles on it and I am on my 4th set of tires. WHAT GIVES? I have had problems aligning the front end and also have had a upper bushing replaced and now I am told I need upper ball joints. Does anyone have a clue or have heard of anyone else having a similar problem?

HELP!!!!! Tires!!
I've had the same problem wiht my 95 PSD 4X4. Wouldn't keep a front alignment. Finally had to replace a bunch of stuff on the front end, including ball joints. The mechanic (works on tons of trucks) said Ford front ends are crap. Especially wiht the 3/4 ton and the heavy deisel motor. Apparently a solid front axle would be better suited.
THe problem is solved but I still need alignment and the bits and pieces underneath tightened up once a year.

HELP!!!!! Tires!!
I have a '97 f-250 PSD and had tire and front end trouble. Tire rotation didn't help, made it worse. I finally contacted a good spring shop and found out that at the factory they have different front spring sizes,(Mine had the wrong set on, they have a number on the bottom front of the spring) I ordered and had the heaviest springs made for the truck installed. It helped with the problem and made the truck level out instead of being "Nose down" cost in Ca. was about $550.00 and have over 44k on this set of tires.
