Braking shimmy

I have a 99 F250 that has a problem with a braking shimmy from a high speed to a complete stop. I have replaced the brakes all the way around and have had the rotors turned. I have heard about rotors losing their balance weight and having to be replaced. Has any else had this problem and found a good fix? Spending a couple of hundred dollars on rotors that don't fix the problem is not something I want to do.

Never heard of rotor weights before...

Just for clarification...You say you replaced all the pads and resurfaced the rotors and the problem still exists?

I'd start looking at your front end suspension and steering components. (Ball joints is a good start)

Your front tires wearin' flat all the way across?

Yes all pads were replaced and the alignment is off a little, but I didn't think enough to make that much of a difference. The ball joints are still tight, but I plan on replacing them this fall. Tire wear is good.
