I bought a new 2001 PSD crew cab F-250 4x4 XLT 6-speed 2 weeks ago and I hope everybody likes theirs as much as I like mine. I've owned 4 other Ford trucks in the past and I think this is going to top them all. My wife even likes it and she doesn't like big vehicles. Worth every dime. Had to brag a little, but it's hard not to driving a Ford.
Hi, nothing wrong with bragging a little good luck with it, I hope it runs as good as it does now 20 years from now they are a super truck I just don't know if I can go beyond a super cab I have trouble parking it in these small lots in the convenience stores. again, good luck with it. I have alot of fun with drive thru windows that have a tight turn in them. usually wind up hitting the curbs. I think it will be even more fun when I get the DRW's installed lol.
I've been driving PSD's for 5 years and there is nothing bad I can say about them. I had a 95 PSD,then a 97 PSD for work trucks. No problems whatsoever with either of them. Now I own my very own 99 F250 SD PSD 6spd and can't get enough of it even after 5 years of driving them for work. Can't wait to tow the boat with it......Les
I am hoping that by the time I get back to the states in 4 years I can pick up a good used Powerstroke engine with a 6 speed behind it froma a wrecking yard to put in my 86. For some reason I think that would be cool as He**. It would definatly make people wonder just what in the world you did to that 6.9 lol. Seriously though. We have been using powerstrokes for the last couple of years now and have had no problems what so ever with them. Believe me, if the Air Force can't kill it then it must be indestructable.
Brad, I think the 6.9 is indestructable I have pulled trees right out of the ground with mine I don't know what it was used for before I got it but I have really used it since I got it.

It is hard not to brag with a ford. I just bought a Red and silver 2001 crew cab PSD which the dealer had as a demo. The dealer put a 4 1/2" spring lift and 33" tires on it, plus a spray-in bedliner and a bullit grill. It's got the captn chairs up front factory fog lights, a nerf step bar, etc.. I'm liking it lots..
Hi, I wish I could buy a new diesel but with all the other toys I have aquired after starting out fresh in october 98 I can't complain I got three mustangs two 67 and one 95 BOSS a 1940 ford pickup (streetrod) and an 86 sc 4x4 lariat 6.9L they all run great and the new wife loves them as much as I do, well almost the 4x4 rides a litttttle to rough for her I tell her it rides just like a cadillac LOL but I can't complain about any of the fords I own they are great and they all have a blue oval on them.

Its alright i'll forgive you for bragging. They sure had to forgive me when i got mine--00 fsd 350 crew--runs great, pulls 20000 lbs with a breeze. I was a chevy man for all of my life till i got into transportation. Now all the truck drivers are jealous when i blow by them at 75 with a full load.Got my ford, loving life. I just need bigger brakes to get it stopped now. Hmmmmm????

If you think the brakes are light on that F350 you really don't want to look under a suberban or a 1500 chevy, it will really scare you to death. Have had masive brake fade in less that 10 miles of hilly So Cal driving with about half rated load with the GM products. Never happened with a Ford or newer Dodge.
