Air Bag Codes
Okay, I finally got back to my truck, and the aire bag light is flashing a code 27. Can someone please tell me what this code is? I am getting really tired of having my stupid light on, and my repair book does not list the air bag codes. Thanks for the help!

The light in the passesger side air bad deactivation switch is blown. A new switch is 58 bucks at www.powerstrokeshop.com or you can solder in a LED in its place.

I can't believe that my stupid light is flashing for that. Who cares if the light on the passenger switch is burned out? I know that I do not. I think that I will get a new LED and solder it in. Thanks for the help, this does at least make me feel a whole he** of a lot better. At least it is nothing bad, or expensive.

alan helped me out on this very same thing a couple months back. just remember to check the led before you solder it in because you may need to turn it over to make it work. easy to do and alot better than 58 bucks.

I'll replace it this weekend. Thanks for all of the advise. I'll definately remember to check the LED to make sure it is in the right way. The LED is much better than the $58, and with the price of Deisel right now, I am happy to save every penny that I can.
