Thumbs down 1938 2 ton

I have two 1938 2 ton ford trucks (cab and chassis). One fair and complete, one poor but complete. Rust is not really too bad. Fflathead V-8's, located in Wyoming (dry). Ran when parked and fluids trained and on blocks in late 70's, early 80's. Wondering what reasonable asking price for both would be. I have both complete titles. Thanks

Bought my first 39 in '69 for $75. Not gonna happen now. I've seen "show quality" 39 Pu's for $24000. More realistically, I bought a 38 and 39 - really rough and mostly dissassembled for $1200 a pair. I just bought a 38 ton or 1.5 ton for $900. Really complete but of course no bed. I'd guess your truck, looking very complete and together, would go for $3000 - $4000 today...

Where are you in Wyoming? I'm in Livermore Co, just south of LArimiee/Cheyenne. Know some folks might be interested. Gordon. Malpais@peoplepc.com

Just a guess. Good luck!

Thumbs up Wyoming location

Thanks for your reply!! I still can't use email yet (15 day waiting period on this site), so email me directly. I am in Laramie just north of you. The trucks are on the highway to walden about 45 miles west of here. I will email some photo's to you. I have a couple of extra wheels for them and I found new ignition parts, plugs and even a new water pump in a box!

well, give me a call at my laramie office # that you can find from a google search for "ranchbrokers" (no space). I don't know enough about this stuff to know if it is safe for my number or email to be posted publically like this.
