Teansmission Cooler??

I just began towing a 16 enclosed trailer this year with my 99 F150 2wd, and was told that if it didnt have a tranny cooler i neede to get one for it. When i look at the front of the radiator there are two coolers mounted on the front. A small one on the right and a little larger one on the left. I followed the lines out and the one on the left is going to the tranny. is this the cooler that they are talking about. Dont want to buy one if i already have it on their. Thanks

If your truck has the factory hitch and is wired for a trailer plug next to the hitch you probably have the tow package which would include the tranny cooler. I had a 98 F150 that had 2 coolers up front. Seems to me the driver side cooler was for power steering and the passenger side cooler was for the tranny.
