Tire question and problem !?
I have the stock General tires 235/85/16 or so, and didnt rotate them and started around 9500, the tires started cupping, with that whow, whow sound, so I was told by my tire guy, that on the longer wheelbase trucks you have to rotate them every 5000 or so or that will happen, and I wonder if the General tires are just not that good, so I think Ford is going to replace the 2 cupped tires, but if I wanted to change them out to say 285/75/16 would that screw up my Automatic 5 Speed (TSF) settings, or is the inch or two in height not to worry about....any help would be greatly appreciated.....
