Maybe LMC truck but I have found a good pipe bender is often cheaper and at least quicker.
I had quite a time finding one for my 79 with a 302, UAP finally dug one up. Since then, i have gone to the local muffler guy with a bender and fixed all kinds of junk cars (mostly my son's for less than you could buy the pipe
I was hoping for a stock crossover. I repaired the original 12 years ago and its held up fine. I may have to resort to that again. I havnt checked with the dealer to see if one is available and how much.
I will call the Napa man tomorrow. My regular jobber checked with Walker and another mfg and they didnt offer it anymore, they must figure everyone was using duals. It kind of suprised me as there are still a lot of these in service.
Are you talking about the exhaust Y-pipe below the engine or the exhaust crossover at the back of the heads that is part of the EGR system? If you are talking about the part at the back of the heads the 351M did not use one, it was built into the intake manifold and heads. The 351W however had a exhaust crossover at the back of the heads. If you are talking about the Y-pipe that connects the exhaust manifolds they should be available, if not any muffler shop can make one.
This a stock crossover, more like a Y, is there a site for the Dr. And, why would I have to get a "pro" to install it? This is a working truck and I didnt want duals. I have 6 trucks that use the exact same system from the muffler back and I was hoping to keep my existing system intact. The 150 doesnt scare me if its what I am after. I realize I can build one or have the shop bend up somethng, was just hoping to find the stock type part as the other one only lasted 25 yrs,, with one repair.
You want an exhaust Y-pipe, not a crossover. Any muffler shop can make one if they are not listed at the parts stores. Some exhaust shops may be able to order one in also. They will want to install it also.
