Crossover pipe placement...
Anyone here ever heard of placing the crossover AFTER the mufflers? Does this make any sense whatsoever? What kinds of problems would this cause? I'm running a 79 F150 shortbed with a 460 and a C6. Got the Magnaflow 22" x 2.5". In my mind, for proper equalization and scavenging measured in any form, the crossover needs to be BEFORE the mufflers? Any thoughts?

I agree, for maximum scavenging effect, they probably work better closer to the engine. I don't know that anyone has really tested that, but it makes sense to have them closer mostly because the gases are moving faster the closer it is to the source. Later in the system, the gases cool and loose speed.
