My wife is wanting to sell her Ex...I reluctantly am going to let her.
It is a 2000 Excursion, 7.3L diesel (SuperChip Programmer), Rancho Shocks, Video/TV system, 4x4, in outstanding condition with only 45,000 mommy dirves a baby around miles on it. It has always been dealer maintained.
Florida driven...only use 4x4 to pull boat off my boat ramp to fill her up with gas.
I was wondering what you all think I could get for it? Talking to some people they are saying around $24,000 is not unreasonable due to the low mileage on the truck.
What do you all think would be a good asking price ?

I live in the midwest and tryed to sell my 00 Excursion limited loaded with a V-10 and low miles. Started advertising it in December for $23,000 - kept lowering the price and ended up trading it in in Feb for $17,500 actual cash on the new truck. Unfortunately very few calls and only one person came to look at it the morning I was trading it in, all this in an area with a popultion of 250,000. I will have to admit that a couple of the callers were looking for diesels for their wife on the farm though so maybe the diesel will help you out. Used vehicle markets suck right now especially with financing rates and incentives on new. I think around here you can get a new Excursion with a diesel with incentives for 42-43K that lists for over 50. I liked the vehicle but for something that was immaculate and had about 50K on it, it was the hardest to get rid of of all the vehicles I've owned. Good luck.
