Like they said, your battery could have a dead cell or something, I forgot to mention that the regulator connector gets corroded. Another easy fix is to cut the connector off, and use regular insulated spade lug connectors.. Just make sure you put them in the right place after you cut the connector off
GET A VOLT METER. that itself will tell you if you are charging.
Another thing to do is to turn your truck off and pull off the positive battery terminal, and use your regular multitester ammeter to measure the off current. Make sure you use the fused side of your ammeter incase something is shorted and drawing big power.
